I find this attitude disturbing. If an organization is having a major
ground breaking for a project I don't think 40 or 50 dollars is too much to
spend on a couple of shovels and a can of spray paint. I think the
generosity of those in the community should not be imposed upon at the whim
of the organization. I do think it is okay to ask for assistance in a tight
situation or an emergency but not just to get something for free.
