Whether or not you are planning to be in Baltimore for AAM, there is still

aspiring and published writers and journal editors, consider characteristics
of quality professional writing, analyze positive and not-so-great examples,
and share works-in-progress. Exchange information and ideas. Get feedback
on
your writing interests. Groups will also address different types of
writing:
Reporting on Practice: How do you write about a project or program in a way
that's useful to other practitioners as well as to funders?
Research: How do you transform a research study into an article? How do
you
document and report a case study?
Opinion: What "needs" saying and how do you say it most effectively?
Criticism and review: How can a review contribute to improved practice and
knowledge building?
Facilitators include representatives from Museum News, Visitor Studies
Today,
Journal of Museum Education, Exhibitionist, and Curator.
