When the subject of jobs comes up, salary is not
usually too far behind. Invariably, there's the choke
factor--yikes, how can I live on THAT salary.
So, to mitigate some of that for the future, I wanted
to throw out a new site I just learned about from my
internet service provider:
http://www.salary.com
It's a pretty cool salary comparison utility, but,
beyond the others I've seen, it actually gives you a
job description (brief) definition, comparisons
between other areas of the company (quite a few,
actually), and some reference material.
College students, please pay close attention to that
site. It may save us from having to call the
paramedics when you figure out how much you're going
to make when juxtaposed against how hard you have to
study, LOL.
