Last week, my grocery store had them 10 packages for $1! I like the
various chicken flavors with some Parmasean & Romano cheese sprnkled on,
The cheese melts, so itcan be like the cheese on French Onion soup if you
use enough.
Another option - throw away that flavor packet and use the ramen as
a base for a more homemade soup. Toss in vegetables (bean sprouts, snow
pea pods, mushrooms) and a Tam Yam cube. Tom Yam is a Thai spice which is
hot peppers, MSG (of course) and other flavors.
I'm disappointed they stopped making the chicken sesame flavor.
There were sesame seeds in the flavor packet, and a little packet of
sesame oil! It was so decadent!
