Well, it looks like I'm not the only one who is
concerned about auctioning off things that I believe
should stay in museums. Here's an article from
today's CNN on just the same topic:

As of this writing, those responding to the poll as to
whether or not such things should be sold, 46% of the
respondents said yes; 54% said no.
