It depends on the photo. If it is an old b/w on heavy paper, not problem.
If it is a modern photo on glossy paper there are special hinges available
for photos. They can also be applied with special reversible adhesives using
either a heat press or vacuum. There is a catalogue that specializes in
photos, storage, mounting, etc. Unfortunately I cannot think of its name.
