Dear list members:
We are in the process of conceptualizing a panel for the 2000 AASLH
annual meeting (in New Orleans) on the subject of ethnic/immigrant
collecting in museums. As envisoned thus far, the session will provide
panelists with the opportunity to describe the ethnic/immigrant
collecting taking place at their respective institutions and to explain
some of the issues involved in this type of public history endeavor.
Please contact me off the list at [log in to unmask] if you are interested
in participating.
Best wishes,
Nick Ciotola
