POSITION AVAILABLE
Title: Museum Services Assistant
Applicant should have a strong background in Art History and
museum or similar experience. Excellent oral and written communication
skills are essential. Must be able to provide constant attention to detail.
Widows based word processing and data base expertise required. Razors Edge,
Quark, Photoshop, and print production knowledge is a plus.
Under the supervision of the Director of Museum Services,
the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Coordination of logistics for AFA's annual Directors Forum
program
* Editorial coordination and production of the newsletter
Memo to Members
* Assistance with special marketing initiatives
* Serving as liaison between the AFA and over 550 art museum
member institutions
* Serving as liaison with vendors of reduced rate service
programs
* Assistance with additional projects as needed
Salary: $24,000. Excellent benefit package that includes
three weeks vacation.
