I need help on two fronts: finding a corn exhibit that has been touring
the country, and finding uses for some corn software we've developed.
The educational children's software (for ages 5-8) teaches early counting,
alphabetizing, geography and elementary scientific concepts using corn and
agriculture as a base. "Crazy About Corn" has more than 8 individual
activities, enchanting animation and songs (can't get those songs out of my
head) and is chock full of history, science, and important messages.
I know there has been a corn exhibit cycling through children's museums.
Crazy About Corn would be ideal for part of that exhibit if adapted to a
kiosk, or as a companion educational piece in the gift shop.
Is anyone familiar with a touring corn exhibit? This software could easily
be adapted as an educational touch-screen kiosk.
If you can help me place this with the circling corn exhibit, or if you
would be interested in evaluating the CD-ROM, kid's activity books,
teacher's guide, video tape or audio tape to generate revenue in your
museum exhibits or gift shop, please contact me. It would be very
appropriate for kids exhibits or emphases in science, agriculture,
nutrition.
Any recommendations you have in helping us find good uses for this fun
product would be greatly appreciated. We're a non-profit educational
institution... this isn't about hawking a product for sale. We think we
have an 'out of the box' solution that could fit really well into public
environments, and meet our primary objective of agriculture education.
Thanks for your input.
