I am sure that someone will let you know where to post your resume on the
Internet. You never know -- that might work. There are times when it is
necessary to go out hunting for just the right person for a specific job. But,
when it comes to entry level positions -- the sort recent graduates are most
likely seeking -- there are so many qualified people -- I suspect there is a
distinct adantage to someone who is proactive by actually seeking out the jobs
(rather than waiting for the jobs to find them).
Rather than go into great detail, I suggest you visit the Museum-L archives at
<http://home.dc.lsoft.com/archives/museum-l.html>. How to find a job in the
museum field is a topic of discussion that arises several times a year. You
will find all kinds of useful suggestions there.
