UV filters are good, but are not a total solution. For example in our
outdoor village museum, we have UV filters on the insides of the windows,
and a piece of chequered display fabric faded in one season -- clearly
showing the placement of the picnic place setting of plate, cup, spoon etc.
that had been on it.
