The American Association of Museums is currently seeking qualified persons
to apply for the Senior Research Manager, Museum Advancement & Excellence
position. This position provides leadership in development of innovative
and high-quality services and products, primarily through the research,
analysis, and development of standards-based information that support AAM's
three standards and best practices programs. Qualified candidates will have
sound and extensive first-hand knowledge of museum operations and
principles; a high level of expertise in information and knowledge
management, research, and writing; ability to work as part of a team;
advanced degree or at least 10 years of substantial museum, writing and
research experience; demonstrated strengths in project management, including
budgeting for research projects; and, the ability to manage multiple
projects.
