Dust Bunnies are electrostatically charged microfiber cloths that can be
used on furniture and wooden objects. You must be careful when using them
because they will snag and pull on loose veneer, flaking paint, etc. You
can use them until they are dirty, then wash and dry them and reuse them.
Because Plexiglas is very easily charged itself, the Dust Bunnies are not
very effective on it. Any friction between the two materials builds the
charge on the Plexi so that it clings more readily to the dust that you are
trying to remove.
Dust Bunnies (and that's their product name) are sold by Testfabrics. Their
address and phone are:
415 Delaware Avenue
PO Box 26
West Pittston, PA 18643
(717) 603-0432
Before using the similar "swiffer" and "grabbit" cloths, you may wish to
check with the manufacturer to see if they have been treated with any
product that may be potentially harmful to the objects upon which you plan
to use them.
