If you can manage it, get ahold of a copy of today's Washington Post.
Every Friday the Post includes a section (Weekend) in the paper which
lists exhibitions in the museums and other institutions in the area.
Most comprehensive and up-to-date listing I know of.
As for restaurants, contact me off list. Since the Diplomatic Corps is
here - most good food from cultures around the world are represented
here.
