We have a program where children can come to the (living history) Park
(dealing with
1840 through 1890s) for birthday parties. They put on a small outfit
(looking like a pioneer) and we provide a party for them.
The question I have, does anyone else do this? I was also wondering what type
of gifts do you give the birthday child...especially a boy 5 to 10 years of
age.
We were thinking of an old fashion top and a bag of marbles, but the marbles
may
be a problem if swallowed. The girls we picked out a doll.
Any ideas for gifts for small boys would be appreciated.
