Yesterday's Washington Post reports that the National Building
Museum in Washington, D.C. held a barn raising INSIDE the
museum this past weekend. Members of the public paid $15 each
for the privilege of helping raise the barn. The 160 year
old barn from Michigan (donated by the owner) is the centerpiece
of a new exhibit - "Barn Again!" - which runs March 17 through
Sept. 11. After the exhibit the barn will be dismantled and
sold to someone willing to preserve it as a barn for $45,000
to $60,000 to cover the costs of the exhibition.

Felicia adds: this is a nice museum in a beautiful historic
building - go see it if you come to D.C.!
