Dear Colleagues,

BPOC hosted another session of Dreaming of AI: Perspectives on AI Use in Cultural Heritage on March 8th, where we heard from Kerry Kennedy, Public Art Coordinator, and Dr. Eve Zucker, Sociocultural Anthropologist, who shared their work and the impact of AI, including its implications on the humanities, public art, and digital memorialization.

We also opened the discussion up to hear questions and thoughts from webinar attendees on the use of AI in their work. Catch the recording on our YouTube Channel or follow the link: https://youtu.be/Pz5e605M1bE

Alongside this webinar, BPOC is conducting a survey on AI use in cultural heritage. Your insights, whether you currently use AI tools or not, are invaluable to us. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey: https://forms.gle/JiDKNa1xDs9CFtGF9

A summary report of survey findings, along with aggregated educational resources on AI use, will be published later this year.

Kindest regards,
