Sorry Everyone,
I can't believe I neglected to mention that I lived in the NJ suburbs of Philadelphia and that I do work at the American Swedish Historical Museum as a weekend manager.  I look at the Aviso all the time and also subscribe to the greater philadelphia cultural alliance newsletter.  I'm thinking about applying to the University of the Arts for a duel MAT in art education and museum education.  Being a school teacher is rather cushy and then I can devote some summer time to museum stuff.  Thank you all so very much for all the information you've provided. I appreciated it.  I do have one other question for those with Master or in a graduate program...  How awful are the GREs?  I'm scared to death to take them.
