We are in need of a part-time Education Assistant for the Town of Wytheville Department of Museums in Wytheville Virginia. There is potential that this position will become a full-time. Our education program serves every student in Wythe County K-5. We host field trips at our Homestead site and do in service programs at the schools. Our Senior Educator has 40 years of experience in elementary education. She develops programing, coordinates schedules and creates hands on activities. All of these education programs meet Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL). Our fall programs served 2,994 students. This position provides an excellent opportunity for the candidate to learn from a true professional and gain in classroom experience.
