In Oregon, several counties have designated themselves as "Drug Free
Workplaces" to keep particularly seasonal and hourly workers from arriving
at work with any drug aftereffects. It has recently extended to salaried and
supervisory personell. Since it does not discriminate against anyone due to
class or other designation, it has been widely received. Those who "chose to
use, frequently move on to other areas." In the tourism-based industry here,
