Assistance is sought in locating 18th-century wigs and primary source
materials on wigmakers.

The Wig Shop at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking
original 18th-century wigs to study and document.

We are interested in both American and European wigs, wigmaking
equipment, barbering tools and period literature on these subjects.

Please respond to: Marilyn Wetton, Margaret Hunter Workshop
