Hi All!

Does anyone have resources they can share that discuss museums' obligations (or lack of) to give donor credit for a gift? I see plenty of example Deeds of Gift that have a "Gift of....." line for the donor to fill out, if they wish, but not information on the general rules and policies of of why we do this and if it's required for us to do so. I am under the impression that it is (at least to follow our efforts to be transparent) but I can't find language that states any official rules on the practice.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!
