Dear Colleagues,
The International Committee on Museum Management, INTERCOM, would like
to invite you to its exciting annual conference which takes place in
Torreon Mexico from the 10-13 November 2009.
The theme is Museums Working in Partnership. The conference will take a
closer look at
- relationships between the museums and its public,
- the government and educational institutions,
- relationships between museums and museums
- museums as virtual communities
all the while thinking about management challenges these partnerships
bring with them.
The conference will explore these themes through a combination of
international speakers, case studies, presentations and workshops and
excursions to key destinations in the region of Torreon in Mexico.
