This year the ICOM Costume Committee will be holding its annual meeting in
Toronto September 8-13.  We are planning a great week in this modern,
vibrant and bustling city, with a rich dress and textile history, from a
major centre of garment production in the late 19th and early 20th
centuries, to a home for many of Canada’s contemporary fashion designers
including Comrags, Jeremy Laing and Smythe.  The theme for the meeting is
Exhibitions and Interpretation and we are now inviting submissions for
papers.  Registration will open on April 1, 2015.  To find details of the
