Under the patronage of ICOM-Europe the "Baltic Museology School" (BMS) will
held its conference on the topic:

  "Museums and their role in contemporary society"
   from 27. June  - 04.July in Sigulda, Latvia.

Chair-person of ICOM-Europe, Hans-Martin Hinz, will open the conference and
give an introduction.
