Summer 2001 course
Museum Studies 810 - Information Technology and Museums
An immersive, five-week course focusing on how information technology
is used in museums, with a focus on the integration of digital
imaging, websites, and databases as they relate to education,
collections management and administration. The course will take place
in a Macintosh lab (G4/256mbRAM/Zip). Individual computer stations for
each course participant.
Open to all museum professionals, museum volunteers, and non-SFSU students
through Open University/Extended Education for 3 units of university
credit.
