Christie's, the world's oldest fine arts auction
house, has asked us to recruit candidates for Spring, Summer and Fall
internships for their new headquarters at Rockefeller Center in New York
City. Internship opportunities in specialist areas include:
Impressionist and 19th Century Art; Photographs and Prints; 19th Century and Old
Master Paintings; American Paintings and 20th century art; Antiquities; Asian
Art as well as a variety of opportunities in human resources, private sales
research, client services and marketing.
After an exciting and informative orientation,
interns perform a variety of administrative tasks associated with the auction
house process. You must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or have
authorization to work in the United States. All foreign applicants must
have a valid employment authorization card.
Interns are required to make their own living
arrangements, and a renumeration for travel within New York City is offered at
$6 per day. You must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
(both on the phone and in person), and computer knowledge. Foreign
language skills a plus.
