On a positive note, I really enjoy the INTERNATIONAL aspect of this list and encourage more readers from around the world to actively participate on it. Yes, there is a tendancy for many people to think locally, not always being conscious that their messages to this and other lists go world wide. Some people also tend to forget that some issues that concern them, such as local laws, may not be of interest to people on the other side of the world. An example of thinking locally - A fellow offered a vintage 1940s 3 ton Canadian truck for sale for parts on an Internet list. The vehicle was of interest to a friend of mine in British Columbia, Canada until he found out by follow-up messages that the vehicle was located in the United Kingdom ! THANK YOU to all those of you who have stated WHERE they are living and working and WHERE the jobs that they are advertising are located. I note that more people are using the subject line effectively so that readers don't have to open every message to see if it is relevant. Thank you for participating!
