Hi all,

I'm quite happy this all happened with the attachments. I have to teach
this exact subject in my NYU class tomorrow (we have a class mailinglist)
and I can just have them read tonight's digest.

My major problem is getting the students to stop sending formatted text. I
read my mail using Pine because it's faster, which also means anything but
plain text is a pain and attachments or formatting codes (like HTML) show
up as garbage. Anything I want to save or print out I then download
to Eudora Pro, which gives me the option of opening the attachment.

Some students have a hard time understanding that everybody doesn't read
their email the same way and that lean and short and to the point is best.
Of course, I don't always follow my own rules and have been known to send
a rude email or two (or three).
