Teresa Kreutzer mixed up a few electrons to say: >Hello! > >Our museum is currently planning to renovate an exhibit hall that at this >time has a bare concrete ceiling with all of the electrical and venting >systems exposed. NOT PRETTY! We are looking for input on how other >museums have finished or treated their ceilings, specifically those with a >similar situation of unfinshed ceiliings. If the heating/ventillation/air conditioning has to stay where it is (as opposed to going on the roof) then about all you can do is drop a hung ceiling below it. Personally, I'd make this a drywall ceiling instead of tiles. The other alternative is to live with the hvac and maybe paint it all one color. I work in a beautiful building -- all ducts and conduit at the ceiling are exposed and painted black -- it looks great!
