Two suggestions: 1. Talk to David Simmons at Old Sturbridge Village, which interprets a New England farming village C. 1830s. 2. Ask reenactors who do the War of 1812-14. They can put you on to costume designers/fabricators who can produce both military and civilian dress of at least the early part of your period and probably the whole period. There are many websites from which to choose.
