It is always interesting to find people or groups that are convinced
that they have found the "one true path" are quick to label others
as "evil."

As is eminently clear to both our visitors and national funders,
Childrens Museums and Science-Technology Centers are places of value and
worthy of respect. And heaven forbid, usually people who come to visit
have FUN and MAKE NOISE! Many visitors do not find the same level of
accessibility in history or art museums. Is that the visitor's fault,
or the museum's fault?

Whatever you call them, non-collecting institutions have valuable stories to
tell, just like history or art museums. While they might not be to
your liking, I think to tar entire fields filled with dedicated and
thoughtful folks, shows little grasp of either the museum field,
or professional courtesy.
