Michael, Congratulations to your wife! I believe the NPS sites in Hawaii are served by the Western Regional office in San Francisco. They will have a branch of archeology (remember no 'a'). Try hunting around there, but don't expect to get on with the federal gov in a permanent way - at least not quickly. It's been a while since I've been with the NPS so I don't have phone #'s or names but maybe some Western Regional person on the list might come forward with those. Best of luck to you.
