Our Museum Board, our city council, and our Museum Advisory Committee are looking into setting up a trust fund for our Museum.

We looked into the different possibilities such as reserve funds, trust funds, etc..

Our decision was trust funds as there would be more control over the fate of donations with future councils, boards, etc..

The Board is now looking to write the draft. Do any of you have examples of your museum's trust fund policy? Any good examples or examples where the control was lost? Any suggestions on how to proceed?
