Raiser's Edge is a great product, but it will be very expensive given your size. I suggest that you see if they is some organization in your area that has it so you can really see how it works. Also, if someone is upgrading their version, you may be able to piggy-back on training which is THE MOST IMPORTANT OF BRINGING THIS INTO YOUR MUSEUM. I assume that your database is rather small. I would think that you could create a very good database in MS Access or Filemaker Pro which would be much more cost effective. I think you could find someone to build it, but you would need to have a good idea of the design of it. Guess it all depends on the state of your current files. Bad information put into a good system is still bad information unfortunately. Good luck Maureen Daly William F.
