The Science Museum in London has done quite a lot of sleep overs over the years for a range of different audiences. I expect they're on the web. Jane We are planning a teachers' "sleep-in/camp-in" at our institution this spring. Activities will focus on teaching science and math in the classroom - in particular how to teach science and math using the arts, music, dance and other levels of intelligence. We are inviting other community museums and organizations to help conduct this "Night of Science". If you have activity ideas, resources or experiences that you would like to share concerning this approach to teaching science and math, please contact me off the list. Thank you in advance. P.S. Since TN abandoned the teacher career ladder program and local school districts no longer require CEUs for continuing certification, we cannot get teachers to attend our inservice workshops unless we pay them. This is a sad statement on our public education system. Has anyone encountered similar problems?
