Dear List members,

Can anyone remember the article, book or reference that discussed the
'ability' of science and technology museums to create an interest in
young adults / high school students in pursuing studies or a career in
science or engineerinng.

My recollection is that is was shown that science/technology museums
could not demonstrate a positive relationship between museum visitation
and increased enrollment in these post-secondary subject areas. The
analysis might have been restricted to North America, but I can't be
sure.

All suggestions welcome, with thanks,

Leslie Munro.
