Agreed. ------ Robert Handy Brazoria County Historical Museum 100 East Cedar Angleton, Texas 77515 (409) 864-1208 museum_bob [log in to unmask] http://www.bchm.org ---------- From: Peter Youngman[SMTP:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Sunday, February 21, 1999 8:38 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: horror stories I don't disagree with Gagnon's messages of three weeks ago or Handy's of today. I would just add that some of you should take this as a reminder to 'clean up' a bit. We discussed here months ago whether trustees (or whomever) have the right to look through what is on a curator's (or whomever's) computer. I'm a trustee, and I believe that we do have the right to look into what's on the museum's computers. Take this as a warning to see that there isn't anything sitting on your computer that you wouldn't want your 'divine overlords' to see. (The way I read it, Gagnon knew he was leaving and thus wouldn't have left anything he didn't want to but this is a handy time for this reminder anyway.) Peter Youngman
