At the moment, I can't think of any candidates! I'm sure someone will be happy to remedy that. --David Haberstich My candidate is 'committee', as used by ICOM. It means: "a group, of thousands of people, and potentially hundreds of thousands of people, with a common interest, run by a board". Maybe it's used in this sense in other international settings, too, and so isn't a museum word.
