" In defense Mr. Boylan's comments, I can verify that North Americans are in short supply in Leicestershire. Being a native North American myself (Canadian) and having spent 4 months in Leicester doing an internship with the Museum Service (excellent), not once did I happen upon another Canadian or American, not even a tourist! I was quite the novelty, actually. This perhaps would explain why Thanksgiving (either Canadian or American) is not celebrated in Leicester either!!
