This is a cheerful way to look at our diversity, our pluralism. The English have a "nationality" comprising several ancient ethnic strains. But here in the states, we haven't really become that "melting pot" after all, have we? Nor are we all "created equal," not as we understand "equal" today. By the way, Ceres, there is a Ceres, Virginia, up in the mountains of Bland County. Last year it had to shut down the elementary school for a couple of days because wild geese had descended like a plague and it didn't seem safe outside the building.
