Brooklyn Historical Society Seeks Executive Assistant

The Brooklyn Historical Society seeks a bright, energetic,
well-organized individual to serve as Executive Assistant. The
successful candidate will work on public relations, membership,
development, and administrative matters and will report directly to the
President.  Computer literacy--including word processing, database
management and internet searching skills--is essential. Interest in or
familiarity with urban history a plus.  Salary mid-twenties, based on
experience.

The Brooklyn Historical Society is dedicated to fostering the
appreciation of the benefits and challenges of living in a large and
diverse urban community.  The Society fulfills its mission by
collection, preserving, and making available important materials
representative of Brooklyn's diverse peoples and cultures, past and
present, by offering provocative and exciting exhibitions and public
programs.
