Alan and Pamela Sandstrom, professor and reference librarian
(respectively) at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne,
addresses the history of papermaking in Mexico in a book on the
traditional papermaking by the modern (1970's) Nahua, Tepehua, and Otomi.
It also provides a brief history of research regarding traditional
papermaking, with citations.

If you have a chance, I would love to hear more about your project, and
to obtain a copy of your bibliography. The Mathers has one of the
largest collections of paper cutouts, such as those found in Sandstrom and
Sandstrom, and we are always looking to fill out our documentation and
research files.

Best wishes,

William Scott
