Kimberly Huber will join the Arizona Department of Library, Archives and
Public Records July 13, 1998, as the Library Services and Technology Act
(LSTA) Curator in the Museum Division.

Ms Huber graduated from ASU with a Master of Arts in Anthropology, and
Museum Studies in 1996. She has most recently been working as a consultant
for the Central Arizona Museum Association; prior experience includes work
at the Deer Valley Rock Art Center, the Museum of Northern Arizona, Pioneer
Arizona and Mesa Southwest Museum.

As LSTA Curator, Ms Huber will be a liaison between the Department and
Arizona's museum community. She will gather information on the work being
done by museums in the state, inform them of LSTA programs that may apply
to their work, and encourage collaboration with the library community in
development of programs that use technology to increase public access to
their resources.

"I am very pleased to welcome Kim to our work with libraries and museums
statewide," Department Director GladysAnn Wells said. "Kim will join us
for the ACTivate Conference as a facilitator. I hope many of you will meet
her at the conference August 6-8."
