MUSEUM DATA ENTRY POSITION The Jewish Museum of Maryland has a temporary, grant-funded data entry position available working with the Registrar and Archivist to create organization's first electronic database using Minaret software. Individual will organize and input collection information from a variety of sources documenting a diverse regional Jewish history collection of over 1 million archival documents, 30,000 photographs and 8,000 objects. Individual will work extensively with accession/catalog records, and will be trained to utilze Chenhall's nomenclature standards, MARC formats, and Library of Congress subject headings. Must have solid computer skills, problem solving skills, and be able to work independently. Experience with museum or library databases desired, but not necessary. Knowldege of museum operations and course work in Information/Library Scence or Museum Studies a plus.
