The PEACE Memorial Museum in Caen in France is an outstanding museum
dedicated to peace so that their children and grandchildren will not forget
that they were occupied by the Germans in World War II and liberated by the
Americans and the Canadians. It is significant that the museum is dedicated
to peace, not war...but tells the story of World War II very well. It is
indeed thought-provoking as an approach to the story of a war...and very well
done. It's well worth the train trip from Paris, and the Normandy D-Day
beaches and the American Cemetery are close by. Jane Glaser
