Hi everyone,

We're integrating conservation topics into major new exhibits as a part
of our master plan (phase one to be complete by 2003 and phase 2 by
2011). While it sounds like a long way off, concept planning / front
end evaluation is proceeding for phase one at a rapid pace.

I'm sure many museums have had environmental exhibits with a whole range
of topics, from informational to attitudinal to advocacy.

I have a few references in my files on museum treatments and/or visitor
studies (Monterey Aquarium, Brookfield Zoo . etc), but I'll bet there
are lots of others out there, or contact people who can describe their
projects. For example, in browsing the Museum-L archives I found a 1994
reference to work on visitor responses to Toronto Zoo on environmental
issues.

Recommendations would be appreciated.
