WASHINGTON CONSERVATION GUILD ANNOUNCES WEB SITE The Washington Conservation Guild is pleased to announce the recent debut of its World Wide Web site (http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/wcg/). The site is divided into two main sections, one intended primarily for conservation professionals in the Washington, D.C. area, and the other for use by the general public. Included in the professionals' section are up-to-date announcements of upcoming WCG meetings (normally held the first Thursday of the month, October through May) and other professional activities in Washington, Maryland, and northern Virginia. Also included are electronic editions of WCG's quarterly Newsletter, as well as details about joining and participating in the organization. The public's section contains articles describing conservation and how to find a conservator, as well as specifics about conservation-related events in the Washington area, including WCG's own public outreach activities.
