Hello, As an intern for the Lake County Museum, in Wauconda, IL., I have been asked to create a contract to be used between the museum and the artist. LCM displays 6-8 artist exhibits each year. My hope is to create a fill-in-the-blank type of contract that can be re-used with each artist, yet can be adapted to each of their individual needs. My questions are: What issues should be mentioned in the contract? What should/could be the responsibilities of the museum? Of the artist? If your museum has a similar type contract, what were the successful elements and unsuccessful elements?
