St. Albans' museum in the UK had a 'Food' contemporary
collecting/recording exercise/exhibition a couple of years ago. It
included oral history with people, photographing shop interiors,
collecting take-away food packaging and so on.

I can't think of a museum here devoted to food, but lots devoted to
brewing and distilling various kinds of alcoholic beverage, and also the
Bramah Tea and Coffee Museum.

Cheers!
